What Makes Home Theatre So Enjoyable?
The dynamic audio and video qualities of home theatre systems are the reason behind their huge success. Incredible picture quality and sound sensations are just part of the experience which is like being in the middle of the action.
As one who became accustomed to standard television, I never paid much attention to the definition of the TV screen or event the quality of the sound that emanated from the standard television speakers that were standard fare up until the advent of digital technology.
I never understood the fuss about the home theatres, nor understood why they had become so popular in such a relatively short period of time. My husband became a fan first, and before long all he would talk about was the home theatre experience.
Just turning on the television would start the discussion again, so I went to a local electronics store so I could find out more. I had never understood what the fuss was about, but I wanted to learn. It didn’t take long to find out.
The demonstration
When I first arrived I was surprised to find the flat-screen models, slim and sleek compared to regular television sets, and immediately I wanted to see a demonstration of the qualities my husband and I had discussed. The moment the lights were dimmed and the demonstration commenced, I became mesmerized into silence.
The clarity of color, the high definition, the colors that came to life, and then the sound that hit me as I was transported to the middle of the motion picture experience, was breathtaking. I literally sat staring at the screen as it came to life all around me. My first thought was that it was better than the cinema hall, more personal and enchanting.
The colors and sound were almost overwhelming at first, but as I watched I began to understand why others had been so talkative about their home theatres, and especially the new owners who would boast and gush about their systems.
No doubt, the movie theatre experience is about to become obsolete with the advent of home theatres. It offers a superior quality, experience and environment. The movie theatre has probably lost a customer permanently.
Not being a technical expert, I was still impressed enough to return home to talk about the home theatre picture, the magnificent audio quality, and the wonderful picture I had witnessed. I was almost speechless at the quality of the picture and sound.
It wasn’t long before my husband and I made the decision to become home theatre owners. Needless to say, we have never regretted the decision, and now almost boast about the quality we have enjoyed since making that decision. Just like our friends and others who had inspired me to go in for a demonstration.
