Wireless Home Theatre Speakers Sound Like Luxury

If you’ve decided that you are going to invest in a home theatre (and the installation costs) there are several things to consider.  Analyze the space in the room where you plan to have your theatre, where to place your TV, especially if it’s a wide screen HDTV, and the location of the speakers.

Surround sound will necessitate even spacing of the speakers to get the most out of the sound dynamics. The speakers will be in front, to the side, and behind, so a wireless configuration works best. You’ll find many levels of quality in wireless speakers, so be ready to test the different brands and models.

Bass reproduction is often a benchmark of quality. Most retail outlets will offer the capacity to compare products before you decide.

First, try and put yourself in the center of the audio area. Think of overlapping negatives of a color photograph. For the proper registration of a color photo, the negatives that individualize the colors must match up.

In home theatres, that is known as imaging, which is the tridimensional effect of the sound. The walls in your home will reflect the sound waves, so you’ll want your placement to be accurate to achieve the best quality. (Indoors, there will be always be a mix of direct and reflected sound. Some frequencies are reinforced, and some are suppressed, so the actual sound you hear will be altered to some degree by the walls).

Keep the speakers at least two feet from the walls to reduce their reflective quality. Increasing the distance between speakers widens the sound-stage, but only to a point. The speakers should be placed as symmetrically as possible, while maintaining the center-point for the best quality sound reproduction.

It will be an experimentation process that requires some effort, but with wireless speakers, the process will be much easier than cumbersome wire-variety speakers. Consider also whether the imaging quality is to be from a solo-point, like a recliner, or a sofa where others will be centered.

Only one point of optimum quality will exist in the room, so you’ll want to allow for some adjustments in your speaker placement when furniture is moved or where the audience is seated.

And more

The next generation of gaming promises unmatched technical wizardry. You’ll want to enjoy the stunning graphics and sound in style with a quality wireless home theatre speaker system.
